In first I fell in love with Mr. Daniels, but that was because I did not know the Tick…
Sinopse – I was warned about Tristan Cole.
“Stay away from him,” people said.
It’s easy to judge a man because of his past. To look at Tristan and see a monster.
But I couldn’t do that. I had to accept the wreckage that lived inside of him because it also lived inside of me.
We were both empty.
We were both looking for something else. Something more.
We both wanted to put together the shattered pieces of our yesterdays.
Then perhaps we could finally remember how to breathe.
”He and I together was a terrible idea. We were both unstable, we were both shattered, and there was no getting around it.”
This is one of those books where you laugh, cry, want to kill a character, or just hold to put all pieces together. Two people trying to overcome their pain and deal with their ghosts in different ways.
“Sometimes tomorrow never comes and you’re only left with the memories of yesterdays.”
Tristan closes for the world as a real thorn. No one who approach a big ogre, until Elizabeth her neighbour. She It is dealing with her husband’s loss.and I tried not to think of his wife and son. And this very beginning of the book is one of the most interesting parts, if you are a good reader or is starting you mind ever goes to an obvious assumption, and despite being half a cliché, Ms Brittainy did something incredible with the ending. And I loved.
Emma is a cute and wonderful girl sometime we see a few kids on the books that not actually looks or thinks like a kiddo. She so cute but sweet on the same time, even with all the drama when she appears with Tristan is full of joy and fun .
